Religious Education

Parents are the first and best teachers of their children in their faith as in all aspects of family life.  We teach by example!! The Religious Education program offered at Holy Redeemer gives support and structure to the formation that happens at home. The "domestic church" ---the home--- provides a real place in which a child can learn to live his/her faith, as well as understand it.  Our goal is to help children and families connect their faith with their lived experience, reflecting especially on their personal stories, in the light of the Gospel.

We use a Catechism based program, focusing our learning on the basics of the Catholic Faith, Sacraments, Prayer, Scripture, Catholic Social Teachings, Stewardship of Time and talent, Community and the Bible.  

Classes for 2024 - 2025 school Year will begin October 8th or 9th
Classes will be offered as followed:
Tuesday all grades (1-9)  ~ 6:00pm - 7:00pm including Confirmation

Wednesday grades 1-7 ~  5:30pm  - 6:30pm 
and Confirmation Part 1 & 2  (8-9)  7:00pm  - 8:00pm
REGISTRATION FOR NEW FAMILIES
New Students must provide:

• Family registration at Holy Redeemer Parish
• Copy of Baptismal Certificate
• Record of previous religious education information such as a report card or letter of recommendation
• Registration fee
