Mission Trips & Conferences

Each year we provide our high school teens the opportunity to go on a week-long summer mission trip.  This trip is designed to give the teens an opportunity to provide meaningful service to others, deepen their understanding and expression of our faith, build lasting friendships and experience new and unique places.  

We also offer a summer weekend youth conference which provides the teens a retreat atmosphere to take a break from their busy lives and re-focus on their spirituality.

The teens are able to earn credit towards their mission trip and conference fees by participating in fundraisers throughout the year.

Alive In You - Summer Mission Trip 2019
Tampa, Florida - June 10-16

Experience the love of Christ through the Eucharist, Reconciliation, Mass, service, high-energy praise and worship, prayer, talented speakers, team building, games, activities, and small faith groups. 

Gather your friends, pack your bags, and join young people from around the country on this incredible journey of faith. Open your heart and let the fire of the Holy Spirit become Alive in You.

What do our teens say about it?  Here are some comments from last summer's mission trip participants:
- During this trip, I realized how much of an impact I can have on others with my words and actions and service.
- I made new friends and learned of new perspectives.
- I liked meeting everyone we helped.
- Loved the connection and deeper understanding of Trinity - a lot learned!
- I enjoyed going to get prayed upon so that I could release my feelings.
- Doing things for others feels better than doing them for yourself.

- Today in mass, for the first time, I understood what people meant when they said they heard God talking to them.
- The workshops were interesting, inspiring and relevant to teens.
- I really enjoyed Amanda's workshop talk about resilience in your Catholic faith.

Steubenville Orlando - Youth Conference 2019 - July 19-21

Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio seeks to provide an opportunity for teens to come to know the saving love of Christ by providing a powerful experience of the Catholic Church and its sacramental life.

This conference is specialized to address the resources and needs of today's Catholic youth, organized on a national and regional level. With an exciting line up of speakers, musicians, and presenters, the High School Youth Conference will challenge Catholic youth to stand firm in their faith, rely on the awesome power of Jesus Christ who is their guide, friend, and Savior, and show that faith to the world.

The Sacraments are the highlight of the conference. Teens will join in a dynamic Eucharistic Liturgy during the weekend and will be given the opportunity to participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. There is also a powerful time of Eucharistic Exposition and Adoration. Many teens encounter the Holy Spirit for the first time. This leads to a tremendous conversion for many young people.
